Jorge I. Ortiz is an accomplished entrepreneur with extensive experience in technology solutions and media in the sports industry. Currently serving as Chief Product Officer and Founder of Varsity Hype since April 2020, Ortiz focuses on delivering innovative technology for students, athletes, and organizations. Additional roles include Co-Founder of In the Loop Houston, a local events newsletter, and Growth Advisor at The Cannon Community. Ortiz has a background in founding and leading several companies, including Come and Take It Apparel, VYPE Media, TheFrontRow.Media, GameDay Films, and SillyBox, Inc. with a strong emphasis on quality, creativity, and community impact. Ortiz holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from The University of Texas at Austin.
