Korbinian Antwerpen

Korbinian Antwerpen is an experienced project manager and engineer with a robust background in product development and systems engineering, particularly in the fields of lithium-ion technology and e-mobility. Currently serving as Projektmanager Produktentwicklung Li-Ion Zelle at VARTA AG since October 2021, Korbinian leads project teams and coordinates product development initiatives. Previously, Korbinian held several prominent roles at BMW Group, including Project Lead for E-Mobility Hochvoltspeicher and R&D Project Leader, where responsibilities included steering projects from concept to production and integrating battery cell technologies. Early career experiences include systems engineering at MAN Truck & Bus SE and various internships and research projects, complemented by academic degrees in Electrical Engineering and Renewable Energies from Technical University of Munich and Hochschule München.
