John McCarthy

John McCarthy is an experienced professional in the aerospace and aviation sectors, currently serving as the Director Europe at VAS Aero Services since August 2021. Prior to this role, John led the Global Disassembly Business Operation at CALC and held the position of Director and COO at EirTrade Aviation Ireland Limited. Additional experience includes leadership roles at Top Aero Investment Limited, where John was Managing Director, and as a consultant for a private consultancy focused on Eastern European aerospace companies. John has a solid foundation in marketing and sales from previous positions at Lufthansa Technik Turbines Shannon, Shannon Turbine Technologies, Airmotive Ireland Leasing Limited, and Airmotive Ireland Limited. Academically, John holds an M.Sc. in Management Practice from Trinity College Dublin, along with multiple engineering degrees from Technological University Dublin.
