Richard Murphy

Richard Murphy has extensive experience in the medical device and engineering fields, currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at Vascudyne Inc since January 2016, having previously held the roles of VP Operations and General Manager within the same company. Richard's background includes positions in research and development at Vascudyne and SurModics, as well as contract work as a Senior Project Manager at Coloplast, where Richard led a crucial project for the Surgical Urology division. Prior experience also includes a Principal Development Engineer role at Bayer HealthCare, focusing on drug-coated balloons, and a Director of Manufacturing and Process Development position at Disc Dynamics, where Richard transformed from a chemist to a director. Richard's career began at Boston Scientific and has included positions at Volt Technical Resources and Specialty Coating Systems.
