Andrew Leinster

Andrew Leinster is an experienced research professional in the fields of pharmacology, oncology, and preclinical research. Currently serving as the Head of Preclinical Research at Vaso Dynamics since February 2024, Andrew previously worked at Evox Therapeutics Ltd as Group Lead (Principal Scientist) in Pharmacology, where leadership included overseeing the Ex Vivo Pharmacology group and managing cross-functional project teams. Prior roles include Senior Research Scientist at hVIVO, where transition to clinical trials occurred, and Senior Scientist at AstraZeneca, focusing on in vivo pharmacology and tumor immunotherapy studies. Andrew's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Oncology and Cancer Biology from Queen Mary University of London, a Master’s degree in Immunology of Infectious Diseases from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, and a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacology from the University of Aberdeen.
