Bryan Swarthout

Bryan Swarthout is an accomplished finance executive currently serving as the Vice President for Finance and Administration at Vassar College since August 2012. In this role, Bryan acts as the Chief Financial Officer for a prestigious institution with 2,500 students and 1,200 employees, overseeing budget management, risk management, treasury services, accounting, payroll, procurement, auxiliary services, and facilities. Previously, Bryan held various finance leadership positions at IBM for a decade, including Strategic Investment Analyst and Manufacturing Finance Manager. Bryan holds an MBA from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business and a Bachelor’s degree in Management with a focus on Finance from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
