Janine Gwinn

Janine Gwinn is a seasoned professional in advancement communications and donor relations with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as Associate Vice President for Advancement Communications and Donor Relations at Vassar College since September 2022, Janine leads the Advancement Communications team, overseeing communications for a $500M campaign. Prior experience includes working as Senior Manager of Advancement at The Culinary Institute of America, where Janine significantly enhanced external communications and alumni engagement. Janine also served as Managing Editor at VIQTORY, driving a brand refresh and managing a remote editorial team. As Co-Founder and Creative Director of Chameleon Kids, Janine's efforts were recognized with multiple awards for publishing. A background in freelance writing includes contributions to notable publications such as Good Housekeeping and Family Circle. Janine holds a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science and a Master's degree in Manufacturing from Penn State University.
