Andrew Danopoulos

Andrew Danopoulos has gained extensive work experience in strategic sourcing and materials management. Andrew is currently serving as the Director of Strategic Sourcing at VAST Data since July 2023. Before that, they worked at Amazon as a Principal Sourcing Manager from October 2021 to June 2023 and as a Senior Sourcing Manager from February 2019 to October 2021. Prior to Amazon, Andrew held the position of Senior Manager of Sourcing and Materials at eero from May 2018 to February 2019. Andrew also served as a Senior Commodity Manager at Itron, Inc. from January 2018 to April 2018. Before that, they held multiple roles at Silver Spring Networks, including Senior Commodity Manager from March 2017 to January 2018, Commodity Manager from October 2013 to February 2017, and Senior Financial Analyst and Financial Analyst in Operations from February 2013 to October 2013. Andrew started their career as a Financial Analyst at Philips Lumileds Lighting Company from August 2010 to April 2012, and prior to that, they worked as a Marketing Research Specialist at 004 GmbH from October 2008 to May 2010. Andrew began their professional journey as a Teacher's Assistant at UC Davis from April 2003 to April 2005.

Andrew Danopoulos received their Bachelor's degree in Economics and Sociology from the University of California, Davis in 2004. Andrew then pursued their MBA at the Gies College of Business - University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2008 to 2010. Prior to their undergraduate studies, Andrew attended Bellarmine College Preparatory from 1996 to 2000.
