Christina Rader

Christina Rader is an accomplished Mechanical Engineering Manager with extensive experience in avionics and hardware design for aerospace applications. Currently serving as the Avionics Mechanical Engineering Manager at Vast since June 2023, Christina leads efforts in electronics packaging, environmental testing, and integration for a human-rated space station. Prior to this role, Christina worked at Virgin Orbit as a Senior Mechanical Engineer, focusing on high-performance avionics hardware for small satellite launches, and at Raytheon as a Senior Mechanical Engineer, providing engineering support for radar and missile sensor systems. Early career experiences include positions as a Mechanical Engineer supporting Navy shipboard systems, tutoring at UC San Diego, and internships with Boeing and Invitrogen. Christina holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from UC San Diego.
