Leon Feng

Leon Feng is a Ground Software Engineer at VAST, where responsibilities include developing mission-critical software infrastructure utilizing technologies such as Golang, Bash, and PostgreSQL. Prior experience includes roles at Parallel Systems, where improvements were made to an autonomous electric railbot orchestration system and algorithms for a mapping library were developed during internships. As an Undergraduate Learning Assistant at UC Santa Barbara, mentorship involved teaching software engineering practices and facilitating collaborative projects. Previous internships at Tesla and Lucidum included designing critical features for internal applications and implementing backend REST APIs, respectively. Leon holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from UC Santa Barbara.
