Outi Örn has held various roles throughout their work experience. Outi is currently serving as the Director of Finance and Administration at VATT Institute for Economic Research since August 2022. At the VATT Institute for Economic Research, we conduct high-quality research to support decision-making and to evaluate economic policy. The main building blocks of our analyses are large-scale register data, institutional knowledge and economic theory. We have 60 employees, mainly researchers with PhDs in economics. Our researchers are sought after as experts in parliamentary committees, expert working groups and the media. VATT Data Room provides fast-paced data-based information for decision-makers. The secretariat of the Finnish Economic Policy Council works at VATT.
