Outi Örn

Outi Örn has held various roles throughout their work experience. Outi is currently serving as the Director of Finance and Administration at VATT Institute for Economic Research since August 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Administration at KAVI National Audiovisual Institute from January 2020 to August 2022. Before that, they held the position of Director of Administration at the Municipality of Rautjärvi from March 2019 to December 2019. Outi Örn's earlier roles include serving as the Head of Unit at the Prime Minister's Office from March 2015 to February 2019, and as the Head of Information Services at both the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health from March 2013 to February 2015, and STUK from May 2010 to March 2013. Outi has also worked as a Researcher at the Provincial Archive of Joensuu from February 2007 to April 2010, and held various positions at different ministries such as the Ministry of Transport and Communications and the Ministry of Employment and the Economy.

Outi Örn holds a Master's Degree in Administrative Science from the University of Lapland, which they completed between 2014 and 2020. In 2014-2015, they attended Helsinki Business College, focusing on Management. Outi also obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree specializing in eServices and Digital Archiving from Mikkeli University of Applied Sciences in 2012-2013. Prior to that, they pursued Archival studies at the National Archives of Finland from 2008 to 2010. Outi Örn's education journey started with a Master's Degree in History from the University of Joensuu, which they finished in 2007.
