Stefano Lombardi

Stefano Lombardi is an experienced researcher in economics, currently serving as a Postdoc at the VATT Institute for Economic Research since September 2019. Previously, Stefano worked as a researcher at the Institutet för arbetsmarknads- och utbildningspolitisk utvärdering from January 2017 to September 2019, and was a PhD candidate in economics at Uppsala University from August 2014 to August 2019. A visiting PhD student at Harvard University for a brief period in 2016, Stefano also gained experience as a researcher at the European Commission's Joint Research Centre and as a research assistant at Bocconi University, where projects focused on diverse topics such as impact evaluation and family formation patterns. Additional roles include data analyst at IRPSI and risk analyst at CSIL, contributing to various psychological research papers and investment project assessments. Stefano Lombardi holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Università Bocconi, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Libera Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele.
