Edwin van Ruijven

Edwin van Ruijven currently serves as the Head of Process Engineering at Vattenfall since October 2019, leading an international team of over 20 full-time employees and more than 5 fixed-term contractors in managing Process Engineering for CAPEX projects within the Business Area Heat, with project values ranging from 10 million to 500 million EUR. Additionally, Edwin holds the position of Head of International Engineering Management at Vattenfall, overseeing a team of 9 full-time employees and 4 fixed-term contractors. Prior to Vattenfall, Edwin was employed by Technip as a Project Manager for large projects and Project Portfolio Manager, focusing on client accounts for BP Rotterdam Refinery and Total E&P Netherlands from July 2011 to September 2019, and has previous experience as a Tender Coordinator and Process Engineer at ESCHER Process Modules. Edwin began a career in engineering at Petrogas Gas-systems B.V. after obtaining a BSc in Chemical Engineering from Fontys University of Applied Sciences and later earned an MSc in Business Administration from the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University.
