Josefin Blanck

Josefin Blanck is a highly experienced environmental professional currently serving as Director of Environmental Strategic Projects and Strategic Environmental Advisor at Vattenfall since June 2017. Prior to this, Josefin worked as an Ecology Consultant at Enetjärn Natur from 2012 to May 2017, focusing on ecological compensation, biodiversity offset, and urban ecology, alongside external communication. Earlier career highlights include roles as Project Manager, Communication Officer, and Program Coordinator at Future Earth, where responsibilities included managing an information project and organizing an international conference. Additionally, a brief tenure as a Research Assistant in the Department of Systems Ecology involved developing methodologies for assessing ecosystem services. Josefin holds a Master's Degree in Biology/Ecology from Stockholm University and pursued further education at Karlstad University and Uppsala University.
