Daniel Betteridge

Daniel Betteridge has over five years of work experience. In 2020, they began working as a Senior Software Engineer at Vault Platform, where they are responsible for developing new platform features with the engineering team, integrating backend API's and both the React frontend and react-native Apps. From 2015 to 2020, they worked at Arup as a Software Engineer, where they built infrastructure pipelines within Azure dev-ops and Github, managed infrastructure as code using terraform, built REST API's, worked with Postgres, and worked with graph databases. Daniel also worked with more junior engineers/developers to build their skills and created content and training to upskill others. Additionally, they worked on projects for Transport for NSW, PATREC, METRONET, and Curtin University. Daniel'stechnical skills include React and Redux, data processing, analytics and streaming, and Python, SQL, and AWS services. Daniel also has experience in IT Helpdesk/Desktop Support.

Daniel Betteridge received a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Computer Systems Engineering from The University of Western Australia between 2010 and 2014. Daniel then obtained a Full Stack Web Development Certification from freeCodeCamp in 2016 and 2017. Prior to that, they graduated from Ocean Reef High School, WA 6027 in 2009.
