Edel Coen

Edel Coen has a wealth of experience in the venture capital and technology industries. From 2011 to 2017, they worked for Enterprise Ireland as a VP Enterprise SaaS & Travel Technology and Trade Development Executive, managing and driving the market development of a portfolio of 40+ Irish telecoms software and travel technology companies. During this time, they also provided market research and competitor analysis, marketing plans, lead generation, and fundraising advice to support startups entering the US market. From 2017 to 2018, they worked as an Investment Executive at BVP, an early stage venture investor specialising in technology companies and renewable energy projects. In this role, they sourced, assessed, and closed investment opportunities and worked closely with the founding teams of portfolio companies to support their growth. In 2018, they joined Molten Ventures as a Principal and Investor, Head of Dealflow and Associate, where they focused on sourcing and investing in high-growth technology businesses across Ireland and Europe. Edel Coen received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in International Business from Northeastern University between 2008 and 2010. Prior to that, Edel Coen obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in European Business & Transatlantic Studies from Dublin City University between 2006 and 2008.
