Koen Verheyen

Koen Verheyen has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Koen is currently the Head of Partner Solutions at VaultSpeed, where they assist partners in maximizing the product's potential for customers, supports sales processes, and provides professional services. Prior to this, they served as the VP Quality Assurance at VaultSpeed, utilizing their extensive experience in BI development, DWH Automation, and solution architecture to ensure the speed, quality, and stability of each release. Additionally, Koen Verheyen is the owner of KoVerBiT Consulting, an independent IT consulting company specializing in business intelligence and IT solutions. Koen has also held positions such as Technical Solutions Architect at EUROCONTROL, Solution Architect at Tripwire Solutions, Technical Solutions Architect at Argenta, Technical Solution Analyst at Johnson & Johnson Medical, Technical Solutions Architect at SWIFT, and Solution Architect at ING. In these roles, Koen Verheyen has been responsible for designing and implementing data integration solutions, building enterprise data warehouses, and managing various technical aspects of projects. Koen Verheyen began their education journey in 1990 at Hoogstraten, where they studied Boekhouden/Informatica until 1996. Koen then attended Karel de Grote-Hogeschool from 1996 to 2000, earning a Bachelor's degree in Toegepaste Informatica. In 2008, they pursued further education at The Data Warehouse Institute (TDWI), focusing on The Data Warehousing Institute. In 2014, Koen participated in Oracle partner training in Istanbul and also attended a Scalefree Datavault 2.0 bootcamp. Koen obtained certifications such as ITILF ITIL® Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management in 2017, Datavault 2.0 practitioner in 2019, Certified SAFe® 4 Agilist in 2019, and Certified Specialist: Oracle Database 11g Data Warehouse in 2010. Koen's most recent educational accomplishment is becoming a Certified Data Protection Officer from the Data Protection Institute in 2021.
