Matthias Hacker

Vice President Business Development & Programs at Vaupell

Matthias Hacker has a diverse work experience in various companies. Matthias started their career at KOMPERDELL Sportartikel Ges.m.b.H. in 2005, where they worked as an R&D engineer. Matthias then transitioned into the role of Product Management Golf and Leadership R&D in 2006. In 2008, Hacker joined FACC AG as a Program Manager and later became the Business Development Manager. Matthias eventually took on the role of Program Director Aerostructures, where they had management, commercial, and contractual responsibilities for all contracted Aerostructure Airbus Programs. In 2016, Hacker joined Vaupell as the New Business Development Manager for Europe and eventually worked their way up to becoming the Vice President of Business Development and Programs. Their work experience demonstrates a strong background in business development, program management, and leadership.

Matthias Hacker's education history begins with their studies at HTL Wels from 1995 to 2001, where they pursued a degree in Ingenieur with a focus on Elektrotechnik und Elektronik. Matthias then enrolled at Fachhochschule Technikum Wien from 2002 to 2006, earning a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Sports-Equipment Technology. Following this, they attended Universidad Politecnica de Valenica from 2005 to 2006, focusing on Mechanical Engineering. From 2018 to 2021, Matthias pursued an Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Entrepreneurship & Innovationsmanagement at Universität für Weiterbildung Krems. Most recently, in 2022, they attended Stanford University to further their studies in Entrepreneurship.
