Director, Clinical Program Management at Vaxart

Dana Opas, MPH, has extensive work experience in project management and program leadership roles. Currently, they serve as the Director of Clinical Program Management at Vaxart, Inc., where they are responsible for managing the operational strategy and implementation of cross-functional clinical vaccine program initiatives. Prior to this, Dana worked as a Senior Project Management Consultant at Vaxart and held various project management consultant roles at Sobi - North America and Takeda. Dana also served as the Program Lead for Physician Wellness Redesign at Brigham and Women's Physicians Organization, where they oversaw initiatives to improve physician wellness. Additionally, Dana has experience as a Program Director and Senior Patient Support Program Manager at Human Care Systems, Inc., a Project Manager at athenahealth, a Community Outreach Specialist/Project Manager at Jewish Family Service, and an Undergraduate Summer Intern at the ACLU - Immigrants' Rights Project.

Dana Opas, MPH, holds a BA in Forensic Psychology and Health Policy from Brandeis University, which was earned from 2007 to 2010. Dana also attended the Hebrew University of Jerusalem from 2014 to 2015, where they completed the International Master in Public Health program. During their time at the Hebrew University, they focused on Health Policy Analysis, Organizational Theories and Management, and Research Methods. In addition, Dana attended the Danish Institute of Study Abroad in 2009, where they studied Health Policy Analysis and Immigration Studies. Dana has earned additional certifications in Leading and Working in Teams from LinkedIn.
