Gina Mastrosimone

Gina (Hunt) Mastrosimone has extensive work experience in various roles and companies.

Gina currently serves as the Vice President of Business Strategy and Planning at Vaxart, Inc. where they started in January 2022.

From 2017 to 2021, they worked at The Exequor Group as a Senior Principal Consultant.

At Merck, they held multiple roles. From 2007 to 2008, they were the Senior Director of Global Brand Leader Oncology, defining and driving the global strategy for the product portfolio. From 2006 to 2007, they served as the Associate Director of Global Market Lead V212 in the Vaccine Division, developing a global commercial strategy. Prior to that, from 2004 to 2006, they were the Associate Director of ZOSTAVAX in the Vaccine Division, involved in the launch of the first shingles vaccine.

Earlier in their career, they worked at Merck as the Senior Product Manager for GARDASIL and ZOSTAVAX in the Vaccine Division from 2001 to 2003. Prior to that, they were a Senior Consultant in Strategy and Marketing at PriceWaterhouseCoopers from 2000 to 2001.

Gina began their career at SmithKline Beecham (now GlaxoSmithKline) as a Management Associate from 1990 to 1993. Gina then served as the Senior Product Manager for SB Mexico in Mexico City from 1993 to 1996, managing various products and developing portfolio management strategies. Gina later became the Group Product Manager for Dermatology, International Operations in London from 1996 to 1998, overseeing marketing and sales for the product portfolio in international markets.
