Malik Rafi

Malik Rafi has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Malik is currently the Vice President of Manufacturing at Vaxart, Inc. Prior to this, they worked at Spectrum Pharmaceuticals for six years, holding the position of Senior Director of Pharmaceutical Technology & Manufacturing. In this role, they were responsible for managing the end-to-end supply value chain of commercial products and clinical projects, overseeing all third-party manufacturing, and strategically planning and scheduling activities in a global supply chain environment. Before their time at Spectrum Pharmaceuticals, they worked as the Director of Manufacturing at Capricor Therapeutics, Inc. and held various roles at Dendreon Corporation, Altea Therapeutics Corporation, ALZA Corporation, and UC Davis. Malik's expertise lies in manufacturing management, operations, and clinical manufacturing and process development.

Malik Rafi holds a Ph.D. in Plant Science from the University of Idaho and an M.S. in Plant Science from the University of California, Riverside.
