Fiorenzo Omenetto

Dr. Omenetto (PhD) is the Associate Dean for Research for the School of Engineering and Professor in the department of biomedical engineering at Tufts University. He is a world expert in silk technologies and is the author of over 70 patents. His interdisciplinary research has resulted in over 100 publications and peer-review contributions across various disciplines. Dr. Omenetto was named one of the top-50 people in tech by Fortune magazine in a class of 50 featuring Steve Jobs, Jeff Bezos, and Shigeru Miyamoto among others.
