Jane Maeng has three years of work experience. In 2021, they began working for Vaxess Technologies as an Engineer I (Protein Purification) and Research Associate (Bioassays and Quality Control), and as a Research and Laboratory Operations Intern. From 2019-2021, they were an Undergraduate Student Researcher (Kaplan Lab) and Chemistry Department Student Worker at Tufts University. In 2018, they were a Tufts Literacy Center Math Tutor, where they worked with two first graders at the Brown Elementary School by planning engaging math activities focusing on the addition and subtraction of three-digit numbers.
Jane Maeng completed their high school education at Miss Porter's School, graduating with a High School Diploma. Jane then attended Tufts University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science, with a double major in Chemical Engineering and Biomedical Engineering, and a minor in Engineering Management. In May 2019, they obtained a Safety and Chemical Engineering Education certification from the American Institute of Chemical Engineers.
