Kate Skrada, MSc has a varied and extensive work experience. From 2013 to 2016, they worked as a Barista at Starbucks, providing excellent customer service to the local community. In 2016, they began volunteering at the Community Practice Clinic UGA, working with doctors and students to maintain the facility. Finally, in 2021, they were a Scientist at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, working on the Cell and Genetic Therapies Team in analytical development for type 1 diabetes research. Currently, they are a Senior Research Associate at Vaxess Technologies.

Kate Skrada, MSc has a diverse educational background. Kate obtained a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (BSA) from The University of Georgia in 2019, majoring in Animal Sciences. Kate also earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) from the University of Georgia - Franklin College of Arts and Sciences in 2019, majoring in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. In 2020, they completed their Master's degree in Chemistry from Georgia State University.
