Olya Plisko

Olya Plisko has extensive work experience in software development. Olya is currently working as a Full Stack Engineer at Vay since June 2022. Prior to this, Olya was a Co-Founder and Fullstack Engineer at Not Just A Jewel from April 2020 to May 2022. In this role, they developed features for a React Native App using TypeScript, designed database relationships using Firestore, and integrated external services for SMS messaging using Python and Twilio. Olya also collaborated with the firmware team to design a Bluetooth communication protocol and developed an iOS Native Module for Bluetooth communication. Olya also debugged firmware and published the React Native application to the App Store.

Before their role at Not Just A Jewel, Olya worked at Ciklum from 2014 to 2016. Olya had various roles, including C# Developer, Scrum Master, and SDET in Tobii Pro Studio. During their time at Ciklum, Olya worked on projects involving time synchronization, debugging, and minor changes in C++ code. Olya also developed an extension in Mozilla Firefox for capturing full webpage screenshots using WebSocket protocol and mapping gaze data from an eye tracker device. Additionally, Olya fixed bugs, made minor improvements, and conducted manual, smoke, and regression testing.

Prior to their work at Ciklum, Olya worked at Terrasoft from 2012 to 2013. Olya held roles as a C#/JavaScript Developer and Junior C# Developer, where they created tools for data manipulation, worked on the creation of a new CRM platform, and implemented the principles of Scrum in the development process.

Overall, Olya Plisko has a diverse range of experience in software development, with expertise in full-stack development, database design, integration of external services, Bluetooth communication, firmware debugging, and agile methodologies.

Olya Plisko obtained their Bachelor's degree in Informatics from the Rubezhnoye Branch of the East Ukrainian National University. Olya attended this university from 2008 to 2013. In April 2014, Olya Plisko also obtained the ICAgile Certified Professional (ICP) certification from ICAgile.
