Wojciech Waga

Wojciech Waga has a comprehensive work experience in the field of software engineering and computer programming. Wojciech is currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Vay since June 2022. Previously, they held the position of Software Architect at Microsoft from July 2021 to June 2022. Prior to that, Wojciech worked at Credit Suisse for almost a decade, initially as a C++ Application Developer from September 2012 to July 2021, and later as a C++ Team Lead and a Solution Architect from August 2013 to July 2021.

Before joining Credit Suisse, Wojciech worked at the Wroclaw Centre for Networking and Supercomputing as a Computer Programmer and a System Administrator. As a part of a team of three people, they developed an open-source network alert correlation framework called ACARM-ng. Wojciech served as a C++ programmer from an undisclosed start date until September 2012 and as a system administrator from an undisclosed start date until 2009.

Furthermore, Wojciech worked at Poznańskie Centrum Superkomputerowo-Sieiciowe as a Junior IT Specialist from an undisclosed start date until 2009. In this role, they were responsible for preparing specifications for the PRACE project.

Lastly, Wojciech gained early career experience as a Trainee at Siemens for a period of two months in 2007.

Wojciech Waga completed their education with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biotechnology from the University of Wroclaw, from the years 2007 to 2012. Prior to this, they achieved a Master's degree in Information Technology from the same university, from 2002 to 2007.

Apart from their formal education, Wojciech also obtained a certification as a MongoDB Certified Developer, Associate (C100DEV) from MongoDB in September 2021.
