Sanjay Phadke

Sanjay Phadke has had a diverse work experience in the fintech and finance industry. Sanjay started their career in 2006 at J.P. Morgan, where they worked as an Executive Director in the Debt Capital Markets/Structured Finance division. Sanjay then transitioned to IDFC in 2011, where they served as a Senior Director until 2013. Following this, they joined Edelweiss Financial Services as an Executive Vice President from 2013 to 2016.

In 2015, Sanjay Phadke began working as a Consultant in the fintech industry, assisting financial institutions in scaling up their credit book profitably. Sanjay also took on advisory roles for turnaround and startup companies. Simultaneously, they pursued various other roles as a fintech specialist, healthtech mentor, author, explorer, and student.

Sanjay Phadke's career continued with roles such as EVP & Head of Global Platforms, Alliances & FI Business at Vayana Network from 2016 onwards, and as an Independent Director at MITCON Consultancy and Engineering Services Ltd from 2019. Sanjay also served as an Advisor for Fintech at the Meghnad Desai Academy of Economics (MDAE) starting in 2019.

Additionally, Sanjay Phadke has been a member of the Working Group for the Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) Workgroup under the Digital Currency Global Initiative, partnered with Stanford University, since 2020. Sanjay has also taken on mentorship roles for BreathAI, a digital health companion, at Virtual Sense Global Tech since 2020.

Sanjay Phadke has a diverse education history. In 1990, they completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavans Sardar Patel College Of Engineering. Following this, from 1995 to 1997, they pursued a Master of Management Studies (MMS) with a focus on Finance at Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS).

In 2015, Sanjay attended The Wharton School, where they completed the Advanced Management Program (AMP) with a specialization in Management, Leadership, and Innovation. Later, in 2022, they attended Singularity University and completed an Executive Program, studying topics like the future, technology, space, biotechnology, and AI.

Sanjay also obtained an Independent Directors Certification from the Indian Institute Of Corporate Affairs (IICA) in July 2021. Additionally, there is mention of an ongoing executive program from Singularity that commenced in March 2022, but further details are not provided for this program.
