Raj Vazirani has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Raj began their career as a Device Physicist at Intel in 1997 before transitioning to the finance industry. From 2000 to 2002, Raj worked at Lehman Brothers in Special Situations and Relative Value Trading. Raj then joined Cantor Fitzgerald as the Head Trader for Special Situations and Risk Arbitrage from 2003 to 2007. At Deutsche Bank, Raj served on the Special Situations Proprietary Trading Desk from 2007 to 2009. Raj then became an Event-Driven Fund Manager and Partner at Quad Group LLC, where they worked from 2009 to 2020. Currently, Raj holds the position of Chief Investment Officer at Vazirani Asset Management LLC, a Special Situations hedge fund focused on Event Driven and Risk Arbitrage opportunities.
Raj Vazirani obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 1993 to 1997.

He brings 20 years of trading experience and combines it with the best analytics and quantitative methods in the industry. Aram Sethian, Director of Research, brings a strong background in law and fundamental analysis, with a specialization in merger arbitrage. Michael Tenebruso is our Chief Strategist and Chairman of our Risk Committee. He brings more than 20 years of investment, leadership, and strategic experience to the team.
