Research And Development Scientist at VBI Vaccines

Ngoc Dung Ngo began working as a Research And Development Scientist at VBI Vaccines Inc. in March 2019. Prior to that, they worked at the University of Ottawa as a Research Technician in the Department of Biology from September 2018 to December 2018, where they focused on the effects of notch signaling inhibition in fin regeneration. From May 2016 to May 2018, Ngoc worked as a Research Assistant in the same department, conducting research on the effects of the pesticide Rotenone as a model of Parkinson's disease using Zebrafish. Ngoc Dung also had an internship at the Korea Institute of Ocean Science and Technology from January 2016 to April 2016, where they used Zebrafish models to find the natural ligand of an orphaned GPR17 receptor. Finally, Ngoc worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology from December 2014 to April 2015, focusing on the generation of transgenic Tobacco plants expressing pesticide genes.

Ngoc Dung Ngo completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Biotechnology from the University of Science and Technology of Hanoi, studying from 2012 to 2016. In May 2016, Ngoc Dung obtained certification in The Experimental Fish from the University of Prince Edward Island. Afterwards, Ngoc Dung pursued a Master of Science degree in Biology at the University of Ottawa, where studies were conducted from 2016 to 2018.
