Magnus Bergman

Magnus Bergman is the current CEO at VBN Components. Magnus has also served as the Chairman of the Board at AB KA Ekström & Son and as Managing Director at Erasteel Kloster AB, Haldex Garphyttan Wire AB, and Sandvik SMT. In addition, they have worked as Chief Representative, NE Asia at Eramet and as Vice President, Steel Div. (SMT) at Sandvik K.K.

Bergman began their career at Sandvik K.K. in 1996, where they worked their way up to Vice President, Steel Div. (SMT) over the course of five years. In 2002, they left Sandvik K.K. to become Wire Business Manager & Country Manager at Sandvik SMT. Magnus remained in this position for three years before being promoted to Managing Director at Haldex Garphyttan Wire AB in 2006. Bergman served as Managing Director at Haldex Garphyttan Wire AB for two years before moving on to Erasteel Kloster AB in 2008. Magnus served as Managing Director at Erasteel Kloster AB for one year before taking on the role of Chairman of the Board at AB KA Ekström & Son in 2016. Magnus held this position for one year before returning to VBN Components as CEO in 2017.

Magnus Bergman attended Uppsala University, where they obtained their MSc in Engineering with a focus in Physics - Material Science.
