Melanie Gerner

Melanie Gerner M.S. is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in audio-visual technology and event management. Currently serving as Labor Manager at VCI Events since July 2014, Melanie has a strong background in programming LED displays, troubleshooting technical issues, and operating audio-video lighting systems for live events. Previous roles include Audio Visual Technician for Full Blown Events and self-employment as a freelance technician since 2002, where Melanie specialized in equipment setup, computer technology, and video assist. Additionally, Melanie held roles in higher education, including Learning Technology Student Assistant and Grants Coordinator, while completing a Master of Science in Educational Technology and Media Leadership. With a solid foundation in journalism and communication, Melanie brings a blend of technical expertise and customer service skills to all projects.
