Suresh Shelvapille

Suresh Shelvapille has over 30 years of work experience in the technology industry. Suresh began their career as a Consultant at IBM from 1990 to 1993. Suresh then worked at Intelsat as a Consultant from 1993 to 1997. Following this, they worked as a Senior Engineer at Verizon Communication for a brief period in 1997. Suresh then joined Hughes Network Systems as a Consultant from 1997 to 1998. In 1998, they started working at Mantra Communications as a Principal Engineer, where they played a crucial role in securing a contract with a large Telecommunication carrier in India. Suresh also worked closely with Business Development executives and made presentations to potential investors and customers. From 2001 to 2005, Suresh worked as a Principal Engineer at Megisto Systems. Suresh led the design of the Mobile Services Switch (MSS) product and established relationships with large Mobile service providers in India. Lastly, they joined Vcinity in 2005 as the Director of Software Engineering. Suresh was responsible for the design of a carrier-grade Multi-Service switching platform called IBex, as well as the design of a data center extension product line.

Suresh Shelvapille pursued a Masters degree in Computer Science from the University of Shippensburg from 1989 to 1990. Following this, they continued their education at Drexel - LeBow College of Business, where they completed their MBA in Business Administration from 2010 to 2012.
