Jenny Chynoweth

Jenny Chynoweth has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Jenny started their career as a Sales Manager at Clipper Vacations in 2003. Jenny then worked as an HR Business Partner, Corporate Trainer, and Recruiter at Concur Technologies from 2004 to 2005. Jenny joined Amazon.com in 2005 and held roles such as Sr. Technical Recruiter, Recruiting Manager, and Events & Conferences Program Manager - Recruiting until 2010.

From 2010 to 2012, they worked as a Marketing Manager at Amazon Web Services, where they managed international user conference projects and ran email campaigns. Jenny then moved to Whitepages, where they served as a Talent Outreach Manager from 2012 to 2015. In this role, they focused on driving brand awareness, social media presence, and event campaigns while handling full-cycle recruitment and employer branding.

In 2015, Jenny joined RealSelf as the Director of Talent, responsible for building and managing the entire talent strategy. Jenny specialized in employer branding, recruitment, and retention programs. Following their time at RealSelf, they started their own recruitment agency, Kohr Consulting, LLC, in 2017. As the owner, they provided startup talent acquisition and employer brand consultation services to clients such as Bezos Day One Fund, TINYpulse, and Hiya.

In 2018, Jenny co-founded The HIVE - Recruiting, a group of independent recruiters focused on the Seattle startup scene. The HIVE facilitated the hiring process for clients and assisted candidates in finding suitable positions. Most recently, they have worked as a Talent Acquisition Consultant at VComply and as a Recruiting Consultant at Stanley 1913.
