Annet Jochemsen has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades.
Annet began their career in 1998 as a Customer Service medewerker at Kantic, where they handled order processing, complaints, and supported the Sales Manager New Business. Annet then moved on to become a Projectleider Telesales, responsible for establishing the Telesales department and increasing market share among smaller customers.
In 2000, Annet joined Guilbert Netherlands as a Teamleader Customer Service and Support. Their responsibilities included managing three Customer Service teams and the Sales Support department, as well as restructuring the Sales Support department.
Annet later joined Office Depot in 2003 as the Manager Sales Operations Benelux. In this role, they led various departments, determined and implemented policies, and played a key role in shaping the sales strategy based on market analysis. Annet was also part of the Benelux Management Team responsible for the contract business sector. Annet then progressed to Sr. Sales Operations Manager Europe, where they focused on developing and optimizing sales support processes across European countries.
At Office Depot, Annet also held the positions of Sales Manager Public Accounts & Healthcare Benelux, Sales Manager Strategic Accounts, and Sales Director Benelux. As the Sales Director, they led and organized all sales teams in the Benelux region, with a focus on new business growth, existing business retention and growth, and category development such as furniture and print.
Most recently, Annet joined VConsyst in 2019 as the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).
Annet Jochemsen attended the University of Groningen from 1992 to 1998, where they obtained a degree in Doctorandus Bedrijfskunde. Prior to that, they studied at the Carolus Clusius College from 1986 to 1992. Annet has also obtained additional certifications, including the Miller Heiman Large Account Management Process (Gold Sheet) from Miller Heiman Group in 2016 and the Miller Heiman Certificate of Sales Excellence from Miller Heiman in 2014.
