Amy Carr

Amy Carr is a seasoned professional in executive talent acquisition, currently serving as the Director of Executive Talent Acquisition at VCU Health since May 2021. With a strong background in recruitment, Amy has led various teams to successfully recruit executives and Advanced Practice Providers while achieving cost savings through internalization of recruitment tasks. Previous roles include Senior Executive Recruiter at Sentara Healthcare and Bon Secours Mercy Health, where responsibilities involved recruiting executive leadership. Earlier career experiences at Centra Health included significant roles in physician recruitment and marketing for cardiovascular services. Amy holds a Master's of Science in Health Benefits Design and a Graduate Certificate in Health Informatics Management from the University of Lynchburg, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Liberty University.
