Dave Embry

Dave Embry is currently serving as the Assistant Vice President of Finance for Community Hospitals, Ambulatory, and Provider Practices at VCU Health since March 2022, overseeing financial operations for MCV Physicians and VCUHS Ambulatory Services, as well as Community Memorial Hospital and Tappahannock Hospital. Previously, Dave held the position of Finance Director for Community Hospitals within VCU Health. A seasoned finance professional, Dave's experience includes over 17 years at Bon Secours Health System, where roles included Administrative Director of Finance for Ambulatory and Post-Acute Services and Administrative Director of Financial Planning, Analysis, and Cost Accounting. Earlier in Dave's career, various roles were undertaken at HCA Healthcare and HealthTrust, Inc., including internal audit and hospital controller positions. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Healthcare Management from Belmont University and a BBA in Accounting from Middle Tennessee State University.
