Jacky Yau

Jacky Yau, PhD, has a diverse range of work experience spanning various industries and roles. Jacky currently serves as the Business Development Director at VDE Global Services Asia. Prior to this, they held multiple positions at VDE Verband der Elektrotechnik Elektronik Informationstechnik e.V., including Head of Hong Kong Operation and Chemical Department Manager. Additionally, Dr. Yau has worked as a Chemist at Peakdale Molecular and as a Research Scientist at Pfizer. Jacky also has experience in academia, serving as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Cardiff University and as a Committee member of the Loughborough University Alumni Advisory Board. Earlier in their career, Dr. Yau participated in the Researcher in Residence Program at Humphrey Perkins High School and worked as a Project Developer at AkzoNobel. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated strong leadership, management, and research skills.

Jacky Yau, PhD, completed their education at three different institutions. Jacky obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Bio-organic Chemistry from Loughborough University. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical and Pharmaceutical Science from the University of Sunderland.
