Dr. Matthias Palzkill

Dr. Matthias Palzkill has a diverse work experience in the field of research and development. Dr. Matthias served as the Head of Department for Research and Development at VDI/VDE Innovation + Technik GmbH since January 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Head of Department for Digitalization from April 2017 to January 2021 at the same company. Before joining VDI/VDE Innovation + Technik GmbH, Dr. Palzkill worked as a Senior Consultant at the company from November 2013 to February 2017. Prior to that, they were a Project Lead at Fraunhofer IPA from May 2009 to October 2013.

Dr. Matthias Palzkill holds a Ph.D. in Robotics, Computer Vision, and Automation from the University of Stuttgart, which they completed in 2014. Dr. Matthias also obtained an Engineer's Degree in Physical Engineering Science from Technische Universität Berlin in 2009.
