Eric Dekkers

Eric Dekkers has over 30 years of experience in training and mentoring within the engineering and technology sectors. Since August 2003, Eric has served as a Training Officer at VDL Enabling Technologies Group (ETG), leading all BBL (vocational training) programs in machining, sheet metal work, and mechatronics, while also mentoring 12 students in a dedicated training area. Eric is responsible for the recruitment of young trainees and overseeing interns from regional ROC and VMBO schools. Prior to this, from 1991 to 2003, Eric worked at Philips Machinefabriek Acht as a bedrijfsleermeester and groepsleider, focusing on the assembly of both large and small modules for complete mechatronic systems.
