Sven Nierijnck

Sven Nierijnck is a Manufacturing Engineer in the New Product Introduction (NPI) department at VDL Enabling Technologies Group (ETG) since March 2021, focusing on High-NA EUV systems and Yieldstar metrology systems in collaboration with colleagues in Singapore. Prior experience includes a role as a Materials and Corrosion Engineer at Shell, where optimization of inspection and maintenance strategies was a primary responsibility, and research internships at both TU Delft and SRON Netherlands Institute for Space Research, concentrating on corrosion technology and mechanical properties in cryogenic applications, respectively. Early career experiences involve engineering internships at Huisman Equipment and Diverto Technologies, with a BEng thesis on a hydraulic chain hoist-trolley system and contributions to various engineering projects. Sven Nierijnck holds a Master of Science in Materials Science and Engineering from Delft University of Technology and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from HZ University of Applied Sciences.
