Sybren de Vries

Sybren de Vries is an engineer at VDL Enabling Technologies Group (ETG) since February 2020, with prior experience in various roles including sawmill and building advice at Intergamma and significant academic involvement at Delft University of Technology as a student assistant and team leader in laser cutting and additive manufacturing. Additional experience includes an internship at the McCaig Institute for Bone and Joint Health focused on Rheumatoid Arthritis research, and positions in video editing, thermodynamics engineering, and kitchen assistance earlier in career development. Sybren achieved a Master’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering - Biomaterials and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Delft University of Technology, following a high school education with a focus on Physics and Engineering.
