Sue Ellen Holmes

Sue Ellen Holmes has extensive experience in property management. Sue Ellen has worked as the Vice President of Property Management at Vecino Group since 2023. Prior to that, they were the Owner of National Compliance Professionals in 2022. From 2019 to 2023, they served as the Vice President of Property Management at Rochester's Cornerstone Group, Ltd., where they managed a portfolio of 18 properties and expanded it to include 51 properties across New York and Pennsylvania. Before that, they worked as the Director of Family Neighborhood Residences and Joslyn Board Member at Christopher Community, Inc. from 2017 to 2019. Sue Ellen also has a long history with a company they worked for from 1992 to 2017, initially as a Property Manager and later as the Director of Property Management and Compliance. In this role, they oversaw regulatory issues, managed contracts, and founded 501(c)3 organizations to provide amenities and services to low-income properties. Additionally, they received several awards and recognition for their work in the field.

Sue Ellen Holmes completed their education at SUNY Empire State College from 2001 to 2004, earning a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in the field of Business, Management, & Economics. Prior to that, they attended Marcellus High School from 1989 to 1992, where they obtained a Regents Diploma with a focus on Science.

In addition to their formal education, Sue Ellen Holmes has obtained various certifications. In 2022, they acquired a Real Estate Broker License from the NYS Department of State. In 2021, they received a certification in LIHTC Average Income Minimum Set-Aside: Requirements & Best Practices from A. J. Johnson Consulting Services, Inc., and a Certified ADA Coordinator certification from the Great Plains ADA Center. Sue Ellen also obtained a National Compliance Professional (NCP) certification from Elizabeth Moreland Consulting, Inc. in 2017, along with certifications in LIHTC, RD, Section 8, Safety, & Fair Housing from Grace Hill E-Learning for Property Management in the same year.

Furthermore, Sue Ellen Holmes acquired additional certifications, including NYS Academy of Trial Lawyers CPLR Update 2017 from the NYS Academy of Trial Lawyers in 2017, Fair Housing Certification from the Fair Housing Council of CNY in 2013, HUD EIV, MOR, & REAC Training from CGI in 2012, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) from Greystone Environmental Management in 2010, and FEMA Emergency & Disaster Recovery Training from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development in 2005.
