Jake Cheuvront

Jake Cheuvront serves as the VP of Autonomy at Vecna Robotics since January 2023. Previously, Jake held the position of VP of Engineering at Motional from March 2017 to July 2021, leading a team of approximately 250 engineers in Singapore and overseeing the development of embedded systems, cloud technologies, and mapping strategies. Prior to that, Jake was the Technical Director of Software Engineering at iRobot, responsible for software architecture and management of the advanced algorithms team. Jake's career includes various roles in software engineering and development across several companies, including Applied Research Associates, Inc., Optimal Technologies, Northrop Grumman, Spectral Systems Inc., and MacAulay Brown. Jake Cheuvront holds both a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Wright State University.
