Priya Ponnappan

Priya Ponnappan has extensive work experience in the healthcare and technology industry. Priya started their career as an Internship Trainee at ISRO, where they worked on enhancing medical images. Priya then joined TeleVital as a Biomedical Engineer, responsible for installing and commissioning telemedicine systems.

After that, Priya worked at athenahealth as a Project Associate, implementing clinical cycle software and providing training and on-site support to clients. Priya later became a Senior Project Associate, assisting with enterprise implementations and mentoring junior associates. In their last role at athenahealth, they were a Project Manager, leading the implementation of revenue and clinical cycle software in large physician networks.

Following their time at athenahealth, Priya joined Mass General Brigham as a Clinical Operations Project Manager, where they managed enterprise-level projects within the healthcare system.

Currently, Priya is the Director of Programs & Project Management at VecnaCares, the non-profit arm of Vecna. In this role, they lead the implementation of healthcare software and hardware projects worldwide, working with clients such as the Special Olympics, Merck, and Sub-County MOH, Kenya.
