Romy Cohen

Scientist - Project Manager at VECT-HORUS

Romy Cohen has worked in the scientific and research field since 2013. In 2013, they worked as a Research Assistant at IBDML in Marseille. In 2014, they worked as a Research Assistant at the Aaron Diamond AIDS Research Center where they studied the molecular basis for HIV-1 infection of non-dividing cells. Since 2015, they have been working as a Scientist - Project Manager and Industrial PHD Student at Vect-Horus S.A.S., where they are developing vectors that cross the blood brain barrier via receptor-mediated transcytosis for brain delivery of imaging or therapeutic agents. Romy is supervised by Michel KHRESTCHATISKY (Vect-Horus, INP) and Daniel BATY (CRCM).

Romy Cohen attended Aix-Marseille University from 2015 to 2018, where they earned their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Neurosciences. Prior to that, they attended Polytech Marseille (formerly called ESIL) from 2011 to 2014, where they obtained their School of Advanced Studies in Engineering in Biotechnology. Romy also attended Université Savoie Mont Blanc from 2009 to 2011, where they earned their DEUG (Two-year university degree) in Science of Life.
