Julia Steyn

Julia Steyn is the Chief Commercial Officer of VectoIQ LLC. She is an innovative thought leader in transportation, Julia previously served as CEO of Bolt Mobility – pioneer start up in business to business micromobility technology.

Prior, Julia served as Vice President, Urban Mobility and CEO of Maven at General Motors from 2015-2019 responsible for development of acquisition and organic new mobility strategy. She joined General Motors as Vice President, Corporate Development, Mergers & Acquisitions, in 2012. In her role, Julia has done multiple strategic transactions for General Motors, including acquisition of a minority stake in Lyft and strategic partnership between Opel/PSA.

Julia was Vice President, Co-Managing Director of Alcoa Corporate Development from 2008 to 2012 and was a Vice President in the Investment Banking Division of Goldman Sachs from 2001 to 2008. She started her career as a Business Analyst with A.T. Kearney and holds a B.A. from Oberlin College and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago.

Julia currently serves as an independent director of First Group PLC.
