Måns Hultman

Vector Center has expanded its advisory board, adding Måns Hultman, a Swedish serial entrepreneur at the forefront of Europe’s data revolution.

Hultman led the business intelligence firm Qlik from its early startup days in 2002 to 2009, setting the stage for its $2 billion IPO in 2010. He met J. Carl Ganter, founder and CEO of Vector Center, at a World Economic Forum (WEF) session in China a decade ago, when Qlik was named a WEF Tech Pioneer.

Today, the Swedish serial entrepreneur is a partner at Zobito and a special advisor at 83North. He served as a board director at iZettle, which was recently acquired by PayPal for $2.2 billion, and on the boards of StormGeo, the weather intelligence company, and Hybris, the commerce platform acquired by SAP for $1.5 billion in 2013. Hultman is an early investor in Vector Center.

Ganter is a recipient of the Rockefeller Foundation Centennial Innovation Award, served as vice-chairman of the World Economic Forum Global Agenda Council on Water Security, and directed Watershed at the Vatican. Ganter most recently spoke at Techonomy 18 on the opportunity and urgency to “design water’s future.”
