Brendan Behan

Brendan Behan, PhD, currently serves as the Director of Data Strategy and Partnerships at the Vector Institute, a position held since May 2024. Previously, Brendan held multiple roles at the Ontario Brain Institute from February 2016 to July 2024, including Manager and Program Lead for Informatics & Analytics, where oversight included the development of the large-scale neuroinformatics platform, Brain-CODE. Prior to that, Brendan worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University Health Network from December 2013 to February 2016, leading a Mitacs-sponsored initiative focused on visualizing cranial nerve fibers in patients undergoing stereotactic surgery. Brendan completed a Doctor of Philosophy in Neuroscience at Trinity College Dublin from 2008 to 2013, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Natural Sciences, Neuroscience, at the same institution from 2004 to 2008.
