Mohamed Harmanani

Mohamed Harmanani is a dedicated Machine Learning Researcher at Vector Institute since January 2023, and concurrently serves as a Graduate Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at Queen's University and Queen's School of Computing. Previously, Mohamed worked as a Data Scientist at Flinks and completed a Machine Learning Research Internship at the University of Toronto, where significant enhancements in NLP techniques and model performance were achieved. An early career in bioinformatics involved developing efficient data pipelines for RNA sequence analysis, and work as a Software Engineer focused on creating an AI-assisted design tool and enhancing user experiences through data analysis. Mohamed holds a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence from Queen's University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Toronto.
