Mohammad Yaghini

Mohammad Yaghini is a Doctoral Student at the Vector Institute, specializing in machine learning since September 2020. Previous experience includes a position as a Visiting Researcher at the National University of Singapore, focusing on data privacy from March to September 2020, and a Research Assistant role at EPFL, where contributions were made to privacy-aware machine learning and fair classifiers from February 2017 to December 2019. Additionally, Mohammad worked as a Visiting Student at ETH Zürich, completing a master thesis on algorithmic fairness, and as a Data Scientist at Expedia Group, developing scalable forecasting models. Earlier roles include research and design work in game theory and mechanism design at Isfahan University of Technology and hardware design for telecom devices at SarvNet Telecom. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Machine Learning from the University of Toronto, along with master's degrees in Data Science and Communication Systems from EPFL, and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Isfahan University of Technology.
